Perizada - Sorceress of Dance

Perizada has danced all her life. Classical ballet formed her early training and performing experience. She ventured into flamenco, and then finally arrived home in Middle Eastern belly dance, turning professional in that art in 1992. She was drawn to the dances and music of the Roma as part of the process of honoring her own imperatives. Her dance Goddesses, Gods, and Inspirations include Dalia Carella, Bobby Farrah, Riskallah Riyad, Artemis, Shibar, Zarifa, and Amaya.

Perizada has traveled in the Middle East, observing various dance forms. Her distinctive approach to dance is uniquely honed from her life experiences and heritage, and is a deep reflection of her soul.

Perizada performs frequently in the greater Charlotte and Raleigh, North Carolina areas. She appears in restaurants, clubs, at corporate promotions and other events, including private parties. She is frequently seen with drummer, Loko.
